Remember Lincoln
Despite very snowy weather 10 men, 4 women, and 1 guest conducted a very successful United Methodist Men's breakfast meeting last Saturday Feb. 5th. In honor of Abraham Lincoln's birthday, a long-time Lincoln buff, John Robertson of Greenfield, led us through a fascinating account. He centered his remarks on the train that carried Lincoln's remains through the eastern part of the United States. The trip lasted some 6 weeks. The next UMM meeting will be held on Saturday, March 5th. Robert King, religion writer for the Indianapolis Star will be our guest.
